Notes
Just a note. Next time I make this recipe, I'm going to try adding the nuts and chocolate chips 15 mins before the brownies are done instead of 30 mins. The brownies were nice and soft, and almost a firm fudge consistency, and while this wasn't bad at all, I do prefer a more chewy brownie, and it's possible that putting the stuff on top of the brownies at such an early time cause the brownies to cook a bit different than they normally would, causing them to be softer. So next time I'm going to try adding the topping at a different time and see if it makes a difference. I will be sure to update once I do.A second note, this is a modified version of Alton Browns brownie recipe, or as I like to call them Alton Brown-ies. The original recipe is here if you interested, I just added my own little twist turning them into caramel turtle brownies. I'm sure he would be proud. Lol.
